That is because 416 is hard...hard because the raw billet is expensive, hard because it takes a long time to machine. However, that did not stop Wolf Tooth because there is no denying that it is the best material for those that need the ultimate durability in a chainring. These stainless steel chainrings are not only beautiful, but they will last 5-10 times longer than their aluminum versions. Wolf Tooth was first to market with Cyclocross 1x specific chainrings because we saw Cyclocross as the perfect use for our patent pending Drop-Stop technology. These beautifully machined 110 BCD Asymmetric 4-bolt chainrings are optimized for your 1x Shimano CX/ Road/ Gravel drivetrain whether you run Dura Ace 9000, Ultegra 6800, 105 5800, or Tiagra 4700. They are also offset for the ideal 1x chainline. Compatibility: - These rings are for use with 110 BCD Asymmetric 4-bolt cranks. - Compatible with Dura Ace 9000, Ultegra 6800, 105 5800, Tiagra 4703, and Tiagra 4700 - Sizes 38T and larger are compatible with Dura Ace 9100, Ultegra 8000 and 105 R7000 but a slight modification is required due to a change in the crank arm profile. The 36T chainring will not work for this modification. - Mounts in the big ring position of the cranks but is offset inward for perfect chainline. - The stock 2x bolts will not work. This cog is made with the precision and finish our customers have come to expect from WTC, and this enables quite possibly the best feeling shift in the cassette. Be sure to check out the GC tech page for more details This cassette sprocket is only for use with Shimano brand 10spd XT & XTR cassettes. It is NOT compatible with any other brand or model of cassette. The shift points are properly timed to the tooth locations on the 36t Shimano cogs for optimal shifting performance. Use of this cassette sprocket requires removal of the 17T or 15T cog & spacer from your cassette. Note on “B-screw”: We have found a longer screw is almost never needed with SRAM derailleurs and only needed for about 50% of Shimano derailleurs. We have added it as a separate item in our accessories category. It is difficult and sometimes impossible to get satisfactory shifting with the 2011 or older SRAM rear derailleurs so we do not recommend using the GC 42 if you have one of these. The GC 42 works great with the newer SRAM rear derailleurs however.

120 BCD cranksets were introduced with SRAM 2x10 drivetrains and are excellent candidates for a 1x conversion with our patented Drop-Stop chainrings. These rings will allow you to convert your 120 BCD crankset, like the SRAM XX and others, to a 1x application! Compatibility: - These rings fit any 120 BCD crankset or spider. - For SRAM cranksets you must use the stock M8.5 bolts. These are not standard bolts and Wolf Tooth's bolts will not work with this chainring. Note that only about 3 threads will engage (same with the stock SRAM rings) - For the 36t chainring and non-SRAM cranksets you will need the M8.5 bolts from Wickwerks if your crankset doesn't already have them. These bolts actually have more threads engaged and will work better than the SRAM ones. - 36t is the smallest number of teeth that fits on a 120 BCD - For 1x9, 1x10, 1x11 and 1x12 drivetrains (including SRAM Eagle) - Compatible with all 10, 11, and 12 speed chains (Including SRAM Eagle) - If using a 9 speed drivetrain use a 10 speed chain (shifts and works well on a 9 speed drivetrain and fits the ring tighter for better chain retention).

These are Direct Mount chainrings for SRAM BB30/PF30 short spindle cranks. This will replace you existing chainring and spider, which is attached via 3 bolts on the back side of the spider near the spindle. You will use these same 3 bolts to attach the SDM ring. The 3rd product picture shows you how to determine if you need this ring or the SDM for GXP/Long Spindle ring. This BB30 short spindle ring is flat whereas the SDM is dished in 6mm. ** Note that these also work great on fat bikes with 190 mm rear hubs when using the X9 or XX1 GXP fat crankset -- they provide a great chainline and offer plenty of clearance for the largest tires! ** BB30 Direct Mount chainrings fit on short spindle BB30 SRAM S2200, S2210, X9, X0, X01, and XX1. Newer S1400 (or X7) cranksets with removable spiders will work with these rings too rings. Older versions of these cranksets do not have removable spiders. This SDM ring is dished in ~6mm, whereas the BB30 short spindle ring is flat. These are Direct Mount chainrings for SRAM GXP crank. Our proprietary design means a slightly less ovalized ring (10%) with less aggressive timing (112 degree) than competitors versions; any change to your pedal stroke is unnoticeable for most riders, but they still provide the POWER and TRACTION benefits inherent to oval chainrings. Its like having two chainrings in one! With PowerTrac Elliptical rings, the larger-diameter section of the ring engages with the chain at the optimal point on the downstroke, or Power Zone, between 1-5 and 7-11 on a clock face to take advantage of your body's natural biomechanical POWER: For example, during this section, a PTE 34t ring is equivalent to a 36t round ring.
