Chainrings

Surly Narrow Wide Chainring
$75.00
An issue many people ran into when they began using 1x setups was chain retention with the front chainring. In the beginning of the 1x movement, many companies dealt with this by using aftermarket chain keepers that somehow bolted to the frame. Many people discovered that using a narrow-wide chainring in conjunction with some type of 'clutch' rear derailleur helped abate or eliminate these chain-jumping issues. Narrow-wide rings use alternating tooth profiles that more positively engage the chain and help control a deflecting chain in bumpy conditions. Your friends at Surly have partnered with SRAM to bring you stainless steel X-Sync chainrings. Stainless Steel is durable. This durability is pretty useful when you're talking about the one ring that is bearing the brunt of all your miles.
Surly Stainless-Steel Chainring (94mm BCD)
$35.00
Surly's Stainless Steel Chainrings last longer than their aluminum brethern because the 304 grade metal they use is 35% stronger. The rings aren't pinned or ramped so when one side starts to wear you can flip it around and pedal some more! They work great with singlespeed, fixed, and 1x9 applications, and the teeth are 2.2 - 2.3mm thick so they work well with wider chains.

Wolf Tooth’s patented Drop-Stop tooth design is the best available anywhere. Compatibility: - These rings fit any 104 BCD crankset - 30 tooth rings require chainring bolts that are 7-10mm long. All other sizes require single ring specific bolts that are ~6mm long. - 30t x 104BCD ring is the only QUARQ power meter compatible 30t ring available! - For 1x9, 1x10, ,1x11 and 1x12 drivetrains (including SRAM Eagle) - Compatible with all 10, 11, and 12 speed chains (Including SRAM Eagle) - If using a 9 speed drivetrain use a 10 speed chain (shifts and works well on a 9 speed drivetrain and fits the ring tighter for better chain retention).

- For chain and derailleur alignment - 20 per bag
SRAM X-Sync 2 Eagle Direct Mount Chainring
$99.00
The radical look and feel of SRAM's X-SYNC 2 Eagle chainring is a direct result of SRAM drivetrain engineers studying the performance and wear characteristics of thousands of X-SYNC chainrings. They subjected every size of chainring to untold environmental and mechanical tortures, abuse and neglect, in both lab and real-world settings, to come up with a chainring that would augment the Eagle drivetrain’s performance in all conditions. The longer, positive-rake tooth shape has been designed to work perfectly with the Eagle chain to increase chain retention and overall pedaling efficiency, while decreasing friction, noise and wear.
Wolf Tooth Components set of 4 chainring bolts for 104 x 30t (10 mm long)
$14.95
We think these bolts the best on the market. They have a 5 mm hex socket and are 10 mm long so you can use a bash ring with your 30T x 104 chainring. The bolt length is laser engraved on the head to avoid confusion with shorter bolts. Simply better. No nuts are included with these bolts because the 30t x 104 chainring has threaded standoffs. These work great with Wolf Tooth or any other brand threaded M8 x 0.75 chainrings. Designed and manufactured in the USA from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy. Torque: 6-7 N-m MAX with light grease on the threads only. Product weight - 4 bolts = 4g
Wolf Tooth Components 110 BCD Cyclocross Chainrings
$79.00 - $84.00
Color: Black 110 mm BCD chainrings to fit standard cranks with 5 bolt, 110 mm spiders. Does NOT fit on the cranksets for Shimano DA 9000 / Ultegra 6800. They WILL work with 11 speed chains. Strongly recommend a 10 or 11 speed chain. If using a 9 speed drivetrain, plan to use a 10 speed chain (it will shift fine), as the 9 speed chain fits too loosely on the ring. *** Be sure to order a colorful set of Wolf Tooth chainring bolts to go with you new ring! Order 6mm (short) bolt+nut combo. *** Note on mud: wide/narrow chainrings do no work well in heavy mud (Wolf Tooth or any other brand) if you plan to ride in very muddy conditions, we recommend a chainguide or chainkeeper and clutch-type rear derailleur! Without these precautions, you may experience chaindrops and/or chainsuck. All chainrings feature our Drop-Stop tooth design and are made from 7075 Aluminum. Use a 10 or 11 speed chain. If using a 9 speed drivetrain, plan to use a 10 speed chain (it will shift fine), as the 9 speed chain fits too loosely on the ring. Product weights: 36t - 58g, 38t - 66g, 40t - 74g, 42t - 81g, 44t - 90g
Wolf Tooth Components 120 BCD 36T Chainrings
$79.00
Color: Black 120 mm BCD chainrings to fit SRAM XX and other 120 mm spiders. Note: This chainring is threaded and will require stock SRAM chainring bolts. WTC bolts do NOT work with this ring. The Chainline is 51mm. We will eventually do a 38T as well but no date at this time. Product weights - 36t - 54g
Wolf Tooth Components 40t gc cog for shimano
$84.95
You asked for it, we made it -- the Wolf Tooth GC is now available in a slightly smaller size! Most of the low gearing from its big brother with improved shifting in the smaller cassette cogs. Be sure to check out the GC tech page for more details This cassette sprocket is only for use with Shimano brand 10spd XT & XTR cassettes. It is NOT compatible with any other brand or model of cassette. The shift points are properly timed to the tooth locations on the 36T Shimano cogs for optimal shifting performance. Use of this cassette sprocket requires removal of the 17T or 15T cog & spacer from your cassette. Note on “B-screw”: We have found a longer screw is almost never needed with SRAM derailleurs and only needed for about 50% of Shimano derailleurs. We have added it as a separate item in our accessories category. If you think you might need the longer screw, order one separately or just go to your local hardware store and pick up an M4 x 25 socket head cap screw. You may need a longer chain than what is presently on your bike. Make sure that when shifted to the 40T cog, there is still some amount of forward travel possible with the rear derailleur cage. This is especially important on bikes with rear suspension. We have tested with Shimano, KMC & SRAM chains – all function well. Compatible only with the following Shimano 10spd cassettes XT 11-36t (CS-M771) XTR 11-36t (M980) Not compatible with SLX 11-36 cassettes because the 17t cog cannot be removed. Note: unlike the 42T, the GC 40T will usually work with 2011 or older SRAM rear derailleurs. We cannot guarantee it on all bikes however. Weight 79g
Wolf Tooth Components 102 bcd Chainrings for xtr m960
$75.00 - $77.00
These 102 BCD rings fit Shimano XTR M960 -- they cannot be used on any other crankset! Only purchase this chainring if your crankset looks like the one in the photo on this page. Color: Black Rings have 50mm chainline. *** Be sure to order a colorful set of Wolf Tooth chainring bolts to go with you new ring! Order the 6mm (short) bolt+nut combo. ***

Wolf Tooth Components direct mount for sram bb30 short spindle cranks
$78.00 - $83.00
These are Direct Mount chainrings for SRAM BB30/PF30 short spindle cranks. This will replace you existing chainring and spider, which is attached via 3 bolts on the back side of the spider near the spindle. You will use these same 3 bolts to attach the SDM ring. The 3rd product picture shows you how to determine if you need this ring or the SDM for GXP/Long Spindle ring. This BB30 short spindle ring is flat whereas the SDM is dished in 6mm. ** Note that these also work great on fat bikes with 190 mm rear hubs when using the X9 or XX1 GXP fat crankset -- they provide a great chainline and offer plenty of clearance for the largest tires! ** BB30 Direct Mount chainrings fit on short spindle BB30 SRAM S2200, S2210, X9, X0, X01, and XX1. Newer S1400 (or X7) cranksets with removable spiders will work with these rings too rings. Older versions of these cranksets do not have removable spiders. If the crankarm and the spider are all made from the same piece of aluminum it is not removable. Chainline is 50mm on a BB30 / PF30 short spindle crankset. About 55mm on GXP or BB30 / PF30 long spindle crankset. All chainrings feature our Drop-Stop tooth design and are made from 7075 Aluminum, color is black unless otherwise specified. Use a 10 or 11 speed chain. If using a 9 speed drivetrain, plan to use a 10 speed chain (it will shift fine), as the 9 speed chain fits too loosely on the ring.
Wolf Tooth Components 104 BCD Chainrings
$68.00 - $77.00
These fit all common cranksets using 104 BCD mounting. See this WTC Tech Document if you have a Shimano Double M785 XT or M665 SLX double crankset Note that the 30T chainring is threaded and has a 48 mm chainline. All other rings have 50mm chainline. Be sure to order a colorful set of Wolf Tooth chainring bolts to go with your new ring! For the 30T order our 10mm (long) bolts and all other sizes order the 6mm (short) bolt+nut combo. Color: Black Product Weights: 30t - 36g, 32t - 47g, 34t - 56g, 36t - 60g, 38t - 66g
Wolf Tooth Components 130 BCD Cyclocross Chainrings
$79.00
Color: Black 130 mm BCD chainrings to fit standard cranks with 5 bolt, 130 mm spiders. Order the 6mm (short) bolt+nut combo. 38T important note: The chain will contact the spider arm slightly when using the 38T chainring (see photo below). We recommend filing a small chamfer on the spider arm but you can also just install it and let the chain do the work. This is only an issue with the 38T as the 130 BCD was designed for 39T smallest ring. All chainrings feature our Drop-Stop tooth design and are made from 7075 Aluminum. Use a 10 or 11 speed chain. The only brand of chain we don't recommend is Wippermann. Product weights: 38t - 52g, 40t - 60g, 42t - 62g, 44t - 79g
Wolf Tooth Components red anodized 104 bcd chainrings

All chainrings feature our Drop-Stop tooth design and are made from 7075 Aluminum. Use a 10 or 11 speed chain. If using a 9 speed drivetrain, plan to use a 10 speed chain (it will shift fine), as the 9 speed chain fits too loosely on the ring. *** Be sure to order a colorful set of Wolf Tooth chainring bolts to go with you new ring! Order the 6mm (short) bolt+nut combo. *** Product Weights: 30t - 36g, 32t - 47g, 34t - 56g, 36t - 60g, 38t - 66g
Wolf Tooth Components 42t gc cog for sram
$89.95
The GC42 cassette cog is so big that when machining the first batch, the machinist thought he made a mistake! If being big is cool then the GC42 is the coolest cog around. This cog is made with the precision and finish our customers have come to expect from WTC, and this enables quite possibly the best feeling shift in the cassette. Be sure to check out the GC tech page for more details. This cassette sprocket is for use only with SRAM brand 10spd X5, X7, and X9 cassettes. It is NOT compatible with any other brand or model of cassette. The shift points are properly timed to the tooth locations on the 36T SRAM cog for optimal shifting performance. If you think you might need the longer B-screw, order one separately or just go to your local hardware store and pick up an M4 x 25 socket head cap screw. You may need a longer chain than what is presently on your bike. Make sure that when shifted to the 42T cog, there is still some amount of forward travel possible with the rear derailleur cage. This is especially important on bikes with rear suspension. We have tested with Shimano, KMC & SRAM chains – all function well. Compatible only with the following SRAM 10spd cassettes X5 11-36T (PG-1030) X7 11-36T (PG-1050) X9 11-36T (PG-1070) Weight 86g Note: the GC 42 is not compatible with 2011 or older SRAM rear derailleurs due to the location of the upper jockey wheel. The best ways to tell the vintages of your rear derailleur is 1) If you have a type 2 (clutch type) rear derailleur it is 2012 or newer and 2) the upper jockey wheel on 2012 and newer rear derailleurs are offset from the derailleur cage's axis of rotation. It is difficult and sometimes impossible to get satisfactory shifting with the 2011 or older SRAM rear derailleurs so we do not recommend using the GC 42 if you have one of these. The GC 42 works great with the newer SRAM rear derailleurs however.
