This is the one you've been waiting for. 4,000 foot descents? 3-hour climbs? Bike-park lift access? More, please. Pivot's Mach 6 Carbon dominates all terrain. It's full carbon frame is specifically designed with 27.5-inch wheels and dw-link suspension throwing down 155mm of travel. That means every bit of this enduro shred machine is optimized to rule the trails. It climbs quickly with a good seat angle and top tube length, and descends even better with a 66-degree head angle, low bottom bracket, and custom tuned Fox Factory Kashima Float X shock. Pivot knows bikes, so the frame is set up with internal cable routing, stealth dropper post routing, ISCG05 tabs, and post-mount disc caliper mounts. For an aggressive bike like this, stiffness is key, so you have a PF92, tapered head tube, and Boost 148 rear spacing. The frame uses a removable front dérailleur mount, so these single-ring builds look nice and clean.

DW Link. Each dw-link frame is engineered for an optimum wheel rate and to work for a specific use with a specific spring and damper. Unlike other suspension systems, dw-link’s does not rely on pedaling platform type dampers, giving excellent bump absorption and traction. You can use this to your advantage and pump terrain in the trail to add momentum.

As your suspension reacts to obstacles, the position sensitive dw-link axle path intelligently changes to meet the demands of the trail. In the beginning of the travel, its rearward profile gives incredible small bump absorption and traction on the climbs. In the middle of the travel, the dw-link axle path works with the front suspension to provide a balanced feel for cornering confidence and jumping control. The end of the travel provides an increase in compression damping for bottomless suspension feel and big hit absorption.

dw-link uses short, stiff links, aligned in the direction of incoming forces, and a triangulated rear swingarm. This layout aligns suspension forces in the most efficient layouts possible to enable frame designs with industry leading strength-to-weight ratios and stiffness.
